TEMPE, Ariz. –
Caroline Eberhart has been appointed the Intercollegiate Tennis Association’s new Championships Coordinator and Tournament Administrator. She began her duties with the ITA on June 18.

A 2016 graduate of the University of Central Florida, Eberhart was as a member of the UCF women’s tennis team. She was named to the American Athletic All-Conference Team and American All-Academic Team during her time at UCF.

“We're very excited to add Caroline to our team,” said ITA Director of Championships Cory Brooks. “Caroline's four years competing at the Division I level will be of great benefit as our team looks to continue to improve and enhance the student-athlete experience at all of our ITA championships!”

In her role as Championships Coordinator & Tournament Administrator, Eberhart will oversee and administer the ITA Division I Regional Championships. She’ll assist the ITA Director of Championships with select day-to-day operations within the Championships Department, including: communication with tournament directors, referees, hosts, sponsors and ITA member coaches, and ITA database management of the Oracle ITA Summer Circuit Powered by UTR administration.

Eberhart received her Bachelor of Science in Event Management in 2016 and graduated with a 3.5 GPA. Prior to joining the ITA, Eberhart was employed by Fox Restaurant Concepts as a Special Events Coordinator at The Yard in Tempe.

"College tennis is something that I am extremely passionate about,” said Eberhart. “I look forward to learning from Cory and making an immediate impact in the ITA Championships department. I am absolutely thrilled to be joining #TeamITA!"
