TEMPE, Ariz. –
The North Carolina women and Wake Forest men remain atop their respective national team rankings, as Oracle and the Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced the latest Oracle/ITA Collegiate Tennis Men’s and Women’s Division I National Rankings on Tuesday.

The Tar Heels held off a game Florida State squad in their last match, claiming a 4-3 victory over the then-No. 22 Seminoles (No. 30 this week) on March 18, to improve to 16-1 on the season. North Carolina is 5-0 in ACC play, and this weekend host No. 6 Georgia Tech on March 24, and Virginia Tech on March 25.

Mississippi State made the biggest move in the women’s team rankings, as the Bulldogs went from unranked to No. 24, thanks to victories over then-No. 2 Vanderbilt (No. 3) and then-No. 14 Kentucky (No. 20) last week.

Wake Forest remained perfect on the season with a 7-0 victory over Virginia Tech on March 16, and a 5-2 win against Pac-12 opponent and then-No. 11 USC (No. 10 this week) on March 18. The Demon Deacons host No. 7 Illinois on March 20, and welcome No. 18 Duke to Winston-Salem 24 hours later.

With four straight victories, three against Top 20 opponents, TCU jumped 21 spots in the rankings, going from No. 32 to No. 11. The Horned Frogs are 10-3 on the season, including a 6-1 mark at home.

In the national singles rankings, Bianca Turati of Texas holds onto the No. 1 ranking, while UCLA’s Martin Redlicki reclaimed the top spot on the men’s side. In doubles, Georgia Tech’s Paige Hourigan and Kenya Jones jumped from No. 4 to No. 1, while the men’s doubles rankings see Florida’s Alfredo Perez and Johannes Ingildsen continue its reign at No. 1.
