SKILLMAN, NJ – No significant changes to the Top 10 this week, as Oracle and the Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced the updated Oracle/ITA Collegiate Tennis Rankings for Division I women on Wednesday.
The only movement in the Top 10 was a flip-flop at No. 5 and 6, as Ohio State jumped ahead of Vanderbilt, thanks to the Buckeyes’ 4-2 dual match win over the Commodores on Feb. 13. It was the second time in a week that Ohio State got the better of Vanderbilt in a dual match, as the two teams met in the quarterfinals of the 2016 ITA Division I National Women’s Team Indoor Championship, with Ohio State squeaking out a 4-3 decision.
Cal Remains No. 1 In Oracle/ITA Collegiate Tennis Rankings
The 6-0 Golden Bears were off last week, but return to the courts this weekend with a pair of Pac-12 contests. On Friday, Cal plays at No. 11 USC and 24 hours later, will take on No. 22 UCLA, also on the road.
