TEMPE, Ariz. – The 2017 NCAA Division III National Champions for men and women find themselves atop the rankings at the start of the dual match portion of the 2018 season, as Oracle and the Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced the latest Oracle/ITA Collegiate Tennis Division III National Team Rankings on Thursday.
Emory holds the top spot in the men’s rankings, with Williams at No. 1 in the women’s rankings.
The top 10 for both men and women mirror the final rankings of the 2017 season. Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (No. 2), Middlebury (No. 3), Bowdoin (No. 4), Wesleyan (No. 5), Washington University in St. Louis (No. 6), Williams (No. 7), Amherst (No. 8), Chicago (No. 9) and Carnegie Mellon (No. 10) comprise the men’s Top 10.
For the women, Emory (No. 2), Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (No. 3), Middlebury (No. 4), Bowdoin (No. 5), Pomona-Pitzer (No. 6), Tufts (No. 7), Wesleyan (No. 8), Chicago (No. 9) and Carnegie Mellon (No. 10) make up the Top 10.
The next set of national rankings will be released on March 1, 2018.
