TEMPE, Ariz. – Defending NCAA Division III national champion Bowdoin are the No. 1-ranked team in the 2016 Oracle/ITA Collegiate Tennis Men’s Division III Fall Rankings as announced on Thursday by Oracle and Intercollegiate Tennis Association.

The Polar Bears concluded the 2015-16 campaign with a 20-3 record, and their national championship was the first for a men’s team in school history. The remainder of the Top 10 mirrors the final spring ranking from 2016, with Emory at No. 2, Middlebury at No. 3, Washington University-St. Louis at No. 4, Chicago at No. 5, Claremont-Mudd-Scripps at No. 6, Carnegie Mellon at No. 7, Case Western Reserve at No. 8, Pomona-Pitzer at No. 9 and Wesleyan at No. 10.

In the individual rankings, Emory’s Aman Manji tops the singles rankings. Manji won the Division III singles championship at the 2016 ITA Oracle Cup. Lubomir Cuba of Middlebury finished runner-up to Manji at the ITA Oracle Cup and is currently the No. 2-ranked player. Mohanad Alhouni of Gustavus Adolphus, Michael Rozenvasser of Carnegie Mellon and Kai Yuen Leung of Skidmore comprise the No.’s 3-5 positions, respectively.

Emory’s doubles team of Jonathan Jemison and David Omsky conclude the fall season as the No. 1-ranked team. Jemison and Omsky won the Division III doubles title at the ITA Oracle Cup.

The next set of national rankings will be released on March 2, 2017.
